Load and Capacity Specialist – Jakarta
Position Summary

  • The load and capacity specialist forms part of the planning team as a senior associate level planner. Within the team, the load and capacity specialist will perform a variety of roles revolving around transit planning, exception and change management, load readiness procedure and other transportation cost-and-service-based optimization activities for Nestle, perform execution-level service-provider relationship management, ad-hoc provider selection, loss recovery, and other transportation cost / service-based optimization activities for Nestle as they pertain to the selection and management of provider capacity. The specific objective of the load compliance coordinator is to ensure transportation plans are actionable, executable, and ready for physical logistics partners to execute by successfully managing the exceptional changes and requests from exterior parties and influences

A day in the life of…

  • Generate executable and optimal transportation plans given parameters defined by upstream supply chain partners and constraints within physical logistics network
  • Undertake the role of being the outbound transportation point of contact for assigned factory / distribution center locations
  • As needed, consistently organize and consolidate seemingly disparate transportation demands into optimal transportation execution.
  • Execute hub strategies based on cost and service while ensuring carriers are assigned to move all planned loads
  • Identify and escalate gaps in carrier coverage with respect to factors like service, cost, and performance
  • Undertake role of being operational point of contact for all carrier queries

First Line Manager – Karawang
A day in the life of…

As a First Line Manager, you will be responsible to the following roles:

  • Supervises and controls different steps of processing according to instructions, production planning and standard procedures.
  • Monitors use of manpower, materials and product quality standards.
  • Authorize to release and reject Raw Material and semi-finished products.
  • Optimization to capacity utilization, monitoring and controlling the maintenance schedule.

What will make you successful

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industry, Mechanical or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa both verbal and written.
  • Having at least 3 years working experience in related field / position.
  • Having good communication, negotiation, leadership, interpersonal, mechanical / electrical, analytical, and problem solving.

T-Hub Service and Scheduling Specialist – Jakarta

Position Summary

  • The service and scheduling specialist is a senior-level associate forming part of the team responsible for transportation operations. The objective of the service and scheduling specialist is to identify, mitigate, and record actions as they relate to risks associated with on-time pickup and on-time delivery. Within the team, the specialist will perform a variety of roles including tasks like shipping facility tracking, provider tracking, in-transit tracking, load recovery intiation, unload resolution, scheduling (and rescheduling as needed) of all orders and the planning of customer-pickup sales orders, and providing value-stream level visibility to load status, among other transportation cost-and-service-based optimization activities for Nestle.

  • Offer reschedule support from providers and service specialist team members upon their request
  • Coordinate with Order to Cash and Sales to obtain delivery appointment reschedules as necessity dictates
  • Ensure On Time Delivery to our Customers
  • Ensure Minimum waiting time at our Customers to avoid non value adding costs
  • Coordinate with different stakeholders like customers and Transport Lead

Transport Optimizer – Jakarta
Position Summary

The transport optimizer forms part of the operational team responsible for transportation planning. Within the team, the transport optimizer will function as first point of contact for order creators. The transport optimizer will focus on the transformation of freight units to freight orders while meeting predefined constraints including source and destination shipping schedules, requested delivery dates and planning cutoff times. All freight order creation activities performed by the transport optimizer should fulfill the objective of building actionable and mode-optimal transportation plans.

  • Build actionable load plans for successful execution by warehousing and hauling service providers
  • Perform load planning in a timely fashion – promptly generating visibility to planning exceptions as they arise
  • Organize and consolidate seemingly disparate transportation demand into mode-optimal freight orders given inputs from upstream supply chain partners, specifically targeting the manner in which vehicles can be further utilized
  • Ensure optimum vehicle utilization is met

T-Hub Transportation Lead – Jakarta
Position Summary

  • The transportation lead is the line manager for all (or part) of the frontline planners. The frontline consists of Scheduling, Transport Optimizer, Load Compliance, Capacity and Service specialist teams. With a scope spanning from Transportation Planning to Load Completion, the Transport Supervisor is expected to balance operational oversight and personnel management. This role is responsible for the empowerment of the individual employee to perform in a way conducive to the success of the T-Hub by reinforcing process adherence, training, escalating issues, coordinating with other functional supervisors, employing motivation techniques, and as necessary, disciplining employees.

  • Understand and champion the maintenance of underlying transportation strategies stipulated in the Transportation Management from Planning and Execution to Continuous Improvement amidst frontline employees
  • Coordinate, in conjunction with Continuous Improvement Specialist, to identify and implement sustainable improvement initiatives within the transportation hub
  • Remove obstacles for frontline to achieve operational excellence in daily processes by performing 1:1’s, developing rapport and building trust with direct reports
  • Drive frontline accountability and ensure a development of competencies supporting successful and cohesive transportation management practices by taking active steps to monitor employee performance and utilizing effective motivation techniques
