1. Transport Optimizer

Position Summary:

The transport optimizer forms part of the operational team responsible for transportation planning. Within the team, the transport optimizer will function as first point of contact for order creators. The transport optimizer will focus on the transformation of freight units to freight orders while meeting predefined constraints including source and destination shipping schedules, requested delivery dates and planning cutoff times. All freight order creation activities performed by the transport optimizer should fulfill the objective of building actionable and mode-optimal transportation plans.

A day in the life of Transport Optimizer:

  • Build actionable load plans for successful execution by warehousing and hauling service providers
  • Perform load planning in a timely fashion – promptly generating visibility to planning exceptions as they arise
  • Organize and consolidate seemingly disparate transportation demand into mode-optimal freight orders given inputs from upstream supply chain partners, specifically targeting the manner in which vehicles can be further utilized
  • Ensure optimum vehicle utilization is met

What will make you successful:

  • At least a Bachelor degree holder (S1) from any major, preferably statistic related
  • Passionate in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry
  • Have 2 years of working experience in the related field, fresh graduate are welcome
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Self-driven and pro-actives
  • Demonstrated resilience to change
  • Highly curious and eager to learn
  • Experienced in handling stakeholders
  • Experience with, or within, multiple functional facets of supply chain

2. Customer Facing Supply Chain Manager

As a Customer Facing Supply Chain person, you will be responsible to drive innovative collaborative Supply Chain solutions that deliver a competitive advantage by optimizing cost to serve and maximizing fresh product availability in offline and online retail, as well as localize, implement and sustain a globally defined O2C Service Strategy in a market, group of markets or business(es) within a market

A day in the life of…

  • Build Customer Trust
  • Understanding and raise awareness of the Customer’s Supply Chain and its alignment to Nestlé’s Supply Chain
  • In partnership with Sales and across Supply Chain, define and lead a common customer strategy
  • Be the coordinator of multi-functional teams during execution of Idea to Launch (Concept Creation to final delivery)
  • Drive success of On Shelf Availability and Online Availability, On Shelf Freshness and Distributor Stock Availability
  • Highlight the business opportunities for both Nestlé and the Customer, in creating competitive gaps through supply chain value creation
  • Develop, in close cross functional collaboration, a Market Service Strategy that take into account the different types of customers and their needs, to provide them with the most adequate, cost effective services
  • Ensure compliance with the defined Service Strategy by closely monitoring its correct application and correcting any deviation

What will make you successful:

  • A Bachelor degree holder (S1) with minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA from Industrial Engineering or Management major
  • At least having 5 years experienced in Customer Service, Or Demand & Supply Planning, Or Distribution / Materials Handling, and / Or Sales and / or Marketing
  • Fluent in English both oral & written
  • Detailed, persistent and organized
  • Independent player but able to work in a team
  • Project management experience to implementation of major project / s or change programme / s
  • Good Analytical, negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong Customer Knowledge
  • Strong in Leadership and service-oriented skills
